Bucklands Beach Sea Scouts is one of New Zealand's largest and most successful Sea Scout Groups.
We learn Scouting and Boating skills in our 4 Cutters, 4 Sunbursts and 10 Kayaks, and our heavy and lightweight camping equipment.
We have a strong committee and dedicated, trained Leadership in each section. With our Parent help and support we are able to engage in a full programme of camping and boating competitions. Check out the programme for each section by clicking on the links to the left.
We are one of only 15 Sea Scout Groups in NZ to hold Naval Recognition. This acknowledges a high standard of leadership through the committee, all sections, and a high level of participation by our Scouts.
